Job summary

Deluxe Holiday Homes in Dubai seeks a hands-on Chief Accountant to own month-end close, UAE Corporate Tax and VAT, and the external audit across the group. You will supervise the Dubai team and accounting in Armenia, ensuring clean books, timely filings, and strong controls.

You will interact with banks, the FTA, and the owner’s office, driving accuracy and governance across the group’s entities.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years in senior roles.
• Hands-on UAE Corporate Tax and VAT—filings performed personally.
• Strong month-end close, consolidation, and intercompany across multiple entities.
• Audit-firm or audited-company background with end-to-end experience.
• UAE-resident and able to liaise with banks and the FTA.
• Strategic operator who communicates clearly and references results.
• AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) used daily for drafting and checking.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close across all entities and ensure timely filings.
• Lead external audit end to end and manage queries with Deloitte.
• Maintain intercompany reconciliations and consolidation eliminations.
• Oversee Dubai cash-control framework and banking relations.
• Supervise accounting teams in various locations and ensure accuracy of records.
