Al Zorah Beach Resort in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping professional to maintain pristine guest rooms and public areas, ensuring consistent, high-quality standards. The role emphasizes attention to detail, privacy, and efficient teamwork within a luxury beachfront setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of guest room cleaning procedures, equipment and cleaning products.
• Understanding of hygiene standards and safe chemical handling practices.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality within assigned room schedules.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and respond to guest requests.
• Professional conduct and respect for guest privacy and confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean, service and prepare guest rooms and suites in accordance with established housekeeping standards.
• Make beds, replace linens and replenish towels, amenities and guest supplies.
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, bedrooms and other guest room areas.
• Ensure furniture, fixtures and room amenities are correctly arranged and presented.
• Carry out turndown service and respond to guest requests as assigned.
• Identify and report maintenance defects, damages and missing items promptly.
• Handle guest belongings with care and follow established lost and found procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, cleaning equipment and supply areas in an organised condition.
• Follow approved cleaning methods, chemical handling procedures and safety requirements.
• Communicate room status updates and special requests accurately to Housekeeping Supervisors.
• Support colleagues in maintaining efficient room operations and service standards.
