Job summary

Rotana Hotels is seeking a dynamic Room Service Order Taker to coordinate all service requirements and ensure immediate action for guest satisfaction. You will handle guest requests, take and place orders, and keep up-to-date with menus and promotions.

You must present excellent guest service, communicate effectively, and maintain grooming standards. The role requires flexibility to work in other areas as directed by the Room Service Manager and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience in room service operations and guest interaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all Room Service requests with urgency to satisfy guests.
• Take and place orders politely, accurately, and promptly.
• Know menus and promotions and advise guests accordingly.
• Answer Room Service phones when required and assist teammates.
• Adhere to departmental SOPs on guest care, grooming, and manners.
• Report cleanliness and maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Attend regular departmental trainings related to guest care and product knowledge.
• Be flexible to work in other areas as directed by the supervisor.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures and assist as needed.
