Job summary

Career Nest Academy is seeking a Receptionist for a fine dining Japanese restaurant in Downtown Dubai. You will handle reservations across telephone, WhatsApp and Instagram, welcome guests, allocate tables, and present the concept and culture behind the room.

We value engagement and presentation at the door, with English fluency as a must and Japanese a plus. You should be already based in the UAE and ready for a 1 November start, with a six-day work week and evening service only.

Qualifications

• Previous reception or guest relations experience in fine dining.
• Fluent in a reservations system and comfortable across social channels.
• Genuinely engaging and able to discuss art and culture with guests.
• Excellent presentation and composure at the door.
• Fluent in English; Japanese is an advantage. UAE resident already.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservation enquiries across telephone, WhatsApp and Instagram with accurate system entry.
• Welcome and escort guests; own table allocation and reservation flow.
• Present the concept, the art, and the Japanese culture behind the room.
• Maintain VIP guest information and relationships.
• Coordinate guest information with service, kitchen, and management.
• Support marketing and deliver daily briefings.
