Job summary

Aloft Hotels in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Sales & Marketing professional to respond to guest inquiries, process reservations, and promote brand loyalty. You will coordinate with Sales, Data Administration, and Accounting to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

You will be expected to train and motivate team members, uphold company policies, and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality while delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related work experience: At least 2 years.
• Supervisory experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or certification: None.

Responsibilities

• Resolve guest calls, requests, or problems by contacting appropriate departments as necessary.
• Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty and up-selling.
• Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points and all reservation changes or cancellations.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information into the reservations system when taking bookings.
• Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (filing, emailing, typing, faxing).
• Assist management in training and motivating employees; serve as a role model.
• Follow company policies; ensure uniforms and appearance meet standards; protect proprietary information and assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Speak clearly and professionally; prepare and review written documents; answer phones with proper etiquette.
• Develop positive working relationships; support team goals; listen and respond to colleagues' concerns.
• Monitor performance to ensure adherence to quality standards; move and lift items under 10 pounds.
