Job summary

Hilton Dubai is seeking an experienced Front-of-House Associate to manage day-to-day restaurant operations, delivering high standards of guest service and ensuring smooth service. You will welcome guests, handle reservations, coordinate staff, conduct briefings, and promote additional sales while upholding Hilton policies.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing seating and reservations, supervising staff, and ensuring accurate logbooks and daily records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including staffing levels, service equipment and guest relations.
• Ability to read English to understand guest requests, memos, reservations and orders.
• Ability to conduct small employee meetings in English and impart new information.
• Ability to remember and promote the menu items.
• Ability to move through a crowded room to seat guests.
• Ability to handle customer complaints in a friendly, proactive manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort to tables, present menus and manage seating arrangements.
• Maintain daily logbook entries to coordinate between shifts and management.
• Ensure dining room setup and grooming standards are followed by service staff.
• Assign stations to staff and communicate promotions and events in daily briefings.
• Coordinate reservations for functions and special events, and update the daily table plan.
• Perform opening/closing duties and assist with side work, stock, and napkin folding.
• Answer phone inquiries, take reservations, and provide information to guests.
