Job summary

Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality is seeking an Agent, Guest Relations to ensure exceptional guest experiences during every stay on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. You will greet guests, anticipate needs, arrange restaurant reservations, transport, and special occasions, and coordinate with hotel departments to deliver seamless service while maintaining confidentiality of guest records.

Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus, and weekend/holiday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest relations, concierge, or hospitality role is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and abilities to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide personalized assistance throughout their stay.
• Anticipate guests' needs and preferences to enhance their experience and exceed their expectations.
• Coordinate special requests and arrangements for guests, including restaurant reservations, transportation, and special occasions celebrations.
• Handle guest inquiries, comments, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving for resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct regular checks with guests to ensure their comfort and address any concerns or issues they may have.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance guests' overall experience.
• Act as a liaison between guests and other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
• Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of guest information.
• Assist with VIP arrivals and departures, including escorting guests to their rooms and providing personalized amenities.
• Collaborate with the Front Office team to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Stay updated on hotel promotions, events, and policies to provide accurate information to guests.
• Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the Guest Relations Manager or other supervisory personnel.
• Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards.
