Job summary

Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality in Abu Dhabi seeks a dynamic Head Concierge to lead our concierge operations. You will create exceptional, personalized guest experiences, anticipate needs, and uphold the highest luxury standards.

You will lead a trained concierge team, collaborate with hotel departments, and manage VIP arrangements, reservations, transport, and local experiences while maintaining strict discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar Concierge leadership role within a five-star luxury hotel or resort.
• Proven experience leading and developing a Concierge or Guest Services team.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi and the UAE luxury dining, attractions, and experiences.
• Experience handling VIP/VVIP guests and complex requests.
• Excellent English communication; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident, charismatic, and professional demeanor with impeccable grooming.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Concierge, Bell Desk, Doorman, and guest services.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Concierge team to deliver exceptional service standards.
• Ensure personalized and seamless guest experiences from pre-arrival to departure.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest requests, including VIP and VVIP arrangements.
• Assist with restaurant reservations, transportation, tours, events, and local experiences.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi’s attractions, dining, entertainment, and luxury services.
• Build relationships with external partners and service providers.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Conduct daily briefings, manage rosters, and monitor team performance.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, service standards, and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and departmental efficiency.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of guest information.

About the Job

We are looking for a dynamic, polished, and guest-focused Head Concierge to lead our Concierge operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating exceptional and personalized guest experiences, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring the highest standards of luxury service are consistently delivered.

The Head Concierge will lead and develop the Concierge team while maintaining strong relationships with guests, hotel departments, and external partners. The role requires excellent local knowledge, strong leadership skills, discretion, and a genuine passion for delivering memorable experiences. These responsibilities are consistent with current luxury-hotel Head Concierge roles, which emphasize anticipatory service, VIP handling, team leadership, local expertise, and cross-department coordination.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar Concierge leadership role within a five-star luxury hotel or resort.
• Proven experience leading and developing a Concierge or Guest Services team.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi and the UAE, including luxury dining, attractions, entertainment, transportation, and local experiences.
• Experience handling VIP/VVIP guests and complex guest requests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident, charismatic, and approachable personality with impeccable grooming and professional etiquette.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance guest value.
• Proficiency in hotel systems and MS Office; knowledge of Opera PMS is an advantage.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
