Job summary
SPT Middle East General Trading seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager to grow its plastics raw materials and chemicals trading portfolio across the UAE and GCC.
You will own the pipeline, pursue new product lines and principals, and leverage an established network of customers and suppliers to expand our cross-border business.
Requirements include 10+ years in sales, engineering degree with MBA, and a proven polymer or petrochemical trading network.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of sales/business development in plastics, polymers, or industrial chemicals.
- Proven record of opening new accounts and product lines in trading/indenting.
- Strong network of customers and suppliers across plastics and related chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Own the business development pipeline and close new accounts.
- Lead onboarding of new products and categories to fit the portfolio.
- Develop strategies to grow sales in UAE, GCC, and international markets.
- Visit customers in UAE and GCC countries to strengthen relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, operations, and purchasing.
