Job summary

AccorHotel in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Reservations Agent to support group bookings. You will handle enquiries by email and phone, quote and confirm bookings, and manage payments and rooming lists for groups.

You will load groups into the PMS, manage negotiated rates, and collaborate with the sales team on updates and weekly reports. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reservations or similar position.
• Good knowledge of Opera Cloud systems.
• Confident handling incoming calls and emails.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries by email or telephone for group bookings.
• Quote and contract confirmed bookings within standard process time.
• Manage payments for group prepayments and billback instructions.
• Follow up with clients for rooming lists and input ahead of arrivals.
• Balance and check out group bills on departure.
• Follow up on release/cancellation deadlines for sales updates and release unsold rooms.
• Work with the sales to prepare series contracts.
• Load groups into the PMS and manage negotiated rates.
• Keep copies of bills and contracts organised for accounting purposes.
• Prepare sales updates.
• Pick up and release reports for weekly and monthly updates.
• Support the sales team with any additional information.
• Dinner time.
• Breakfast time etc.

• Quote and contract confirmed bookings ensuring both are completed within standard process time
• Manage payments for each group prepayment deadlines and billback instructions
• Follow up with clients for rooming lists and input ahead of groups arrival
• Balance and check out group bills upon each group s departure
• Follow up with clients within agreed release dates and cancellation deadlines for sales updates and release unsold rooms accordingly
• Work with the sales to prepare series contracts
