Kempinski Hotel in Dubai seeks an experienced Groups & Events professional to support the sales team and assist the Director in managing the department. You will coordinate group and event requests, respond to inquiries quickly, and help maximize bookings and revenue through upselling and cross-selling within Kempinski properties.

Responsibilities include attending meetings, conducting site inspections, and ensuring smooth handovers to the Event Manager.

Qualifikationen

• College Degree in Hospitality required
• 3+ years in luxury hotels preferred or required
• Experience in Groups & Events management, Reservations or Sales preferred
• Strong leadership and analytical skills; ability to adapt to a changing market; revenue-focused mindset
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Opera/Sales & Catering systems

Aufgaben

• Assist the Groups and Events sales team and other sales members as needed
• Support the Director of Groups and Events in department management
• Attend meetings and client events in the Director's absence
• Coordinate event and group requests (RFPs, leads) with supervisor guidance
• Handle enquiries within 5 business hours
• Apply Kempinski MICE SOPs from enquiry to contracting
• Maximize use of Meeting and Conference Rooms
• Conduct site inspections with potential MICE clients
• Realize upsell opportunities to meet revenue targets
• Enter and maintain requests in Opera S&C system
• Create activities to maintain bookings
• Generate proposals and contracts and follow up within 24 hours
• Coordinate handovers to Event Manager/Groups & Events Coordinator
• Introduce Event Manager to clients and conduct post-event exit interviews
• Cross-sell to other Kempinski/GHA hotels; monitor competition
• Review monthly results and adjust activities to grow market share and revenue
• Maintain LOS CAN and UNC business; perform other duties as assigned
