Job summary

Ali & Sons Holding LLC is seeking an experienced Reporting & Consolidation Manager to lead Group financial reporting, consolidation and closing across a diversified portfolio of businesses in the UAE. You will connect numbers to insights, challenge details and strengthen governance while improving reporting processes.

The role requires 8+ years in finance with at least 5 years in Group reporting and consolidation, IFRS expertise, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
Strong expertise in IFRS, financial consolidation, intercompany accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting and controls.
Experience with ERP, consolidation and financial reporting platforms, together with strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the Group's monthly, quarterly and year-end closing, reporting and consolidation cycles.
Own Group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, consolidation adjustments and consolidated financial statements.
Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, consistent and IFRS-compliant across Group entities.
Review business-unit submissions, challenge significant variances and ensure the quality and integrity of Group financial information.
Act as a Group reference point for IFRS, accounting policies, technical accounting matters and complex Group transactions.
Support accounting assessments relating to business restructuring, acquisitions, disposals and other significant transactions.
Provide clear financial analysis, management reporting and commentary to support senior leadership decision-making.
Partner with Finance teams, auditors and business leaders to resolve reporting, accounting and audit matters.
Strengthen financial reporting governance, controls, data quality and reporting structures across the Group.
Drive automation, systems enhancement and process improvement to reduce manual work and improve reporting efficiency.
Lead, develop and build the capability of the Reporting & Consolidation team.
