Job summary

Al Rostamani Group is seeking an experienced HSSE Lead to oversee health, safety, security and environmental requirements across properties and projects. You will conduct audits, risk assessments, fire drills and incident investigations, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across the portfolio.

The role requires a strong environmental background, UAE HSSE knowledge, and experience with facilities or property management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) Level 3 – essential
• Fire Safety / Fire Risk Assessment training or equivalent
• Desirable: ISO 45001 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor
• Desirable: ISO 14001 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor
• Incident Investigation / Root Cause Analysis training is preferred
• Environmental management / sustainability qualification

Responsibilities

• HSSE Audits & Inspections: Plan and independently conduct periodic HSSE audits and inspections across ARG Group properties and operations.
• HSSE Implementation & Compliance: Support implementation of the Group's HSSE policies, procedures, standards and initiatives.
• Risk Assessment & Safe Work Practices: Conduct and review risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA) and Method Statements.
• Fire & Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain the annual fire and emergency drill programme; coordinate drills.
• Incident Investigation: Assist with or independently conduct investigations of accidents, near misses, injuries, property damage and fire/environmental incidents; perform root cause analysis.
• Environmental Management: Conduct environmental compliance inspections and monitor environmental aspects and impacts.
• Contractor & Service Provider HSSE Management: Review contractor HSSE documents and support HSSE requirements for tenders and contracts.
• Training & Awareness: Conduct HSSE induction and toolbox talks; organize safety awareness programmes.
• HSSE Reporting: Prepare regular HSSE reports for management with audit, action status, incident statistics and environmental performance.
