Job summary

Al Rostamani Group is seeking an HSE Engineer to oversee health, safety, and environmental practices across our project sites in the UAE. You will implement and maintain HSE management systems, conduct risk assessments, lead safety audits, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of HSE management experience in construction or industrial sectors, NEBOSH IGC and UAE-specific certifications, and strong communication and leadership skills to promote a safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent international certification.
• OSHAD or equivalent UAE-specific safety certification.
• ISO 14001 or related environmental certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve the HSE Management System to ensure site activities comply with HSE regulations.
• Oversee risk assessments and hazard identification; lead JSA and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, OSHAD, and Civil Defense standards and environmental policies.
• Oversee HSE training programs for site personnel and emergency response.
• Document and report HSE activities, audits, and compliance checks; prepare performance reports.
• Lead and manage HSE Officers and supervise site safety inspections.
• Oversee emergency response planning and drills; liaise with regulatory authorities.
• Develop and implement sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact; promote safety culture.
