Job description

We are conducting a highly confidential search for an accomplished Group Chief Financial Officer to join a large, diversified consumer-focused organization headquartered in the UAE.

This is a significant executive leadership mandate with responsibility for shaping the Group’s financial strategy, governance and performance across multiple businesses and markets.

The successful candidate will lead the broader finance agenda, including financial planning & analysis, budgeting, reporting, governance and controls, capital allocation, financial risk management and audit, while acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership and business heads. A key part of the mandate will be driving stronger financial performance across the portfolio, improving operating discipline and supporting sustainable EBITDA growth. These areas reflect the scope of the confidential brief.

We are particularly interested in senior finance leaders who bring:

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including substantial leadership experience within a large, complex, multi-business or multinational environment.
• Strong FMCG / consumer goods experience is highly preferred, although exceptional candidates from adjacent large-scale consumer businesses may also be considered.
• A strong combination of commercial finance and financial stewardship, someone equally comfortable influencing business performance and maintaining rigorous governance and controls.
• Significant exposure to FP&A, corporate finance, budgeting, financial reporting, audit, controls and strategic decision‑making.
• Proven experience partnering with CEOs, Boards, shareholders/owners and senior executive teams.
• Experience leading sizeable, geographically dispersed finance organizations.
• International and multi‑market experience is highly valued.
