Michael Page is representing a leading UAE-headquartered business services group seeking an experienced finance leader to assume the Group CFO role in Dubai. The position offers a long-term career path, exposure to the CEO and Board, and significant influence on value creation across multiple industries.

Ideal candidates will bring 20+ years of CFO-level experience within large, diversified organisations, strong IFRS governance, and a proven track record in finance transformation and capital

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CA, CPA or equivalent).
• 20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Proven Group CFO experience within a large, diversified organisation.
• Strong expertise across FP&A, treasury, corporate finance, financial control, and capital allocation.
• Demonstrated M&A, investment appraisal, and transaction execution experience.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working closely with Boards, shareholders, lenders, and executive leadership teams.
• Leadership in finance transformation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group's long-term financial strategy and growth plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and business partnering across the portfolio.
• Advise on capital allocation, investments, acquisitions, disposals, and corporate transactions.
• Oversee treasury, banking relationships, funding strategy, and capital structure.
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance, compliance, and reporting standards.
• Drive finance transformation, automation, data-led decision making, and systems optimisation.
• Act as a trusted adviser to the CEO, Board, shareholders, lenders, and external stakeholders.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance leadership team across the Group.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be a seasoned finance leader with significant experience operating at Group CFO level within a complex, multi-business organisation.

You will possess

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CA, CPA or equivalent).


• 20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.


• Proven Group CFO experience within a large, diversified organisation.


• Strong expertise across FP&A, treasury, corporate finance, financial control, and capital allocation.


• Demonstrated M&A, investment appraisal, and transaction execution experience.


• Strong understanding of IFRS, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.


• Experience working closely with Boards, shareholders, lenders, and executive leadership teams.


• A track record of leading finance transformation and driving operational excellence.


• UAE experience is essential, with broader GCC exposure viewed favourably.
