• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA; MBA preferred.

Chief Financial Officer

UAE Based role

Salary - 60 - 70000 Dhms plus benefits

The Chief Financial Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership across the organisation’s finance function, ensuring strong financial performance, effective governance, robust risk management, and disciplined decision-making. The CFO will also oversee Finance Shared Services and drive efficiency, standardisation, and transformation across the function.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organisation’s financial strategy, supporting business growth, profitability, and long-term objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, management reporting, and performance analysis, providing strategic insight to the CEO and senior leadership team.
• Oversee accounting, controllership, treasury, tax, cash flow, working capital, and statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead and develop the Finance Shared Services function, covering areas such as AP, AR, General Ledger, Record-to-Report, and other centralised finance operations.
• Drive standardisation, process improvement, automation, and cost optimisation across Shared Services and the wider finance organisation.
• Establish and monitor appropriate financial controls, policies, governance frameworks, and approval processes across the organisation.
• Lead enterprise and financial risk management, identifying key financial, operational, liquidity, credit, FX, compliance, and fraud risks and ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
• Oversee internal and external audit activities and ensure timely resolution of control and audit findings.
• Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on strategic investments, business cases, acquisitions, commercial decisions, and capital allocation.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including ERP optimisation, digitalisation, automation, analytics, and improvements to the finance operating model.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing finance organisation, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, commercial thinking, and strong risk awareness.

Requirements

• 20+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant experience at CFO, Finance Director, Regional CFO, or equivalent level.
• Strong experience across financial management, FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, governance, and risk management.
• Proven experience leading or overseeing Finance Shared Services / GBS, preferably within a complex or multinational organisation.
• Strong track record in finance transformation, process optimisation, automation, and ERP environments.
• Experience working with senior leadership and Boards, with strong commercial, strategic, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred; MBA would be an advantage.
• Fluency in Arabic language is preferred
