Overview

Black & Grey HR is hiring for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on behalf of a leading diversified business group in the UAE with significant operations across Oil & Gas Services, Industrial Operations, Engineering, Logistics, Marine Services, and Infrastructure Support. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for driving the Group's financial strategy, governance, capital management, and business performance across multiple legal entities. This role will partner closely with the Chairman and senior leadership to support growth, optimize profitability, strengthen financial controls, and ensure long-term financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the Group's financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management across multiple business units and legal entities.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support business expansion, investments, capital allocation, and operational decision‑making.
  • Oversee treasury, banking relationships, cash flow management, working‑capital optimization, and funding requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial reporting, management reporting, and statutory compliance.
  • Drive cost optimisation, margin improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives across the organization.
  • Strengthen governance, risk management, internal controls, audit processes, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Lead ERP finance transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support M&A activities including due diligence, valuations, integrations, and post‑acquisition performance management.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing finance function while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Chairman, Board, and Executive Leadership Team on financial and strategic matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
  • CA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, MBA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 20 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including CFO, Finance Director, or Group Finance leadership roles.
  • Proven experience within Oil & Gas Services, EPC, Industrial Services, Engineering, Energy, Infrastructure, or diversified business groups.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex multi‑entity organizations with significant revenues and operational scale.
  • Strong expertise in corporate finance, treasury, banking relationships, working‑capital management, governance, and financial strategy.
  • Proven track record of driving profitability improvements, financial transformation, and business growth initiatives.
  • Experience leading Board presentations, executive stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision‑making.
  • Stable career progression demonstrating long‑term commitment and leadership growth.
  • GCC/UAE experience is highly preferred.
