Gulf Wings, based in the United Arab Emirates, seeks a seasoned Ground Operations / Dispatch Manager to join the Operations team. You will coordinate daily flight operations, supporting aircraft, crew, and passengers while upholding the highest safety, compliance, and service standards in a fast-paced business aviation environment.

Qualifications

• GCAA Flight Dispatcher qualification or equivalent operational training.
• Experience with business aviation operators.
• Familiarity with international handling agents, permit providers, and flight planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day flight dispatch and ops support.
• Plan and monitor aircraft movements, schedules, permits, fuel and catering.
• Liaise with airports, ground handlers, and authorities.
• Ensure all operational docs are complete before departure.
• Support crews with operational requirements pre/during/post flights.
• Monitor flights and manage delays, diversions, or AOG.
• Coordinate crew logistics including hotels and visas.
• Maintain compliant records and reports.
• Work with other departments to ensure smooth operational delivery.
• Participate in emergency and contingency planning.

About the Role

Gulf Wings is seeking an experienced and highly organized Ground Operations / Dispatch Manager to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily flight operations, ensuring seamless support for aircraft, crew, and passengers while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced business aviation environment and can effectively manage multiple operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day flight dispatch and operational support activities.
• Plan and monitor aircraft movements, flight schedules, permits, handling arrangements, fuel, catering, and ground services.
• Liaise with airports, ground handlers, fuel suppliers, government authorities, and third-party service providers worldwide.
• Coordinate flight planning, weather information, NOTAMs, airport suitability, and operational requirements.
• Ensure all operational documentation is complete, accurate, and available prior to departure.
• Support flight crews with operational requirements before, during, and after flights.
• Monitor flights and respond proactively to operational changes, delays, diversions, or AOG situations.
• Coordinate crew logistics including hotels, transport, visas, and positioning flights where required.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
• Work closely with Flight Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Sales, and Finance departments to ensure smooth operational delivery.
• Participate in the company's emergency response and operational contingency planning when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in Flight Dispatch, Operations Control, Ground Operations, or Business Aviation Operations.
• Knowledge of international flight planning and dispatch procedures.
• Good understanding of ICAO regulations and business aviation operational practices.
• Experience coordinating international permits and airport handling is desirable.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational software systems.
• Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays when required.
