Job summary

An aviation solutions company is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee maintenance operations for modified aircraft in the UAE. This role includes coordinating planning with customers, managing maintenance personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates must hold an FAA A&P License (or equivalent) and be willing to relocate for a minimum of two years. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, alongside experience in aircraft maintenance and planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Global aircraft experience preferred.
• Willing to relocate to the UAE for at least 2 years.
• Experience in supervising personnel and maintenance planning.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Willing to make technical decisions based on available information.
• Willing to support schedule and shift work.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the customer on maintenance planning and hangar issues.
• Coordinate maintenance with Operations Managers.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports to appropriate managers.

• Become familiar with ADMIS for aircraft data entry
• Manage maintenance personnel to support customer needs
• Ensure aircraft maintenance documentation is properly completed and routed to records
• Communicate maintenance needs to the program Accountable Manager
• Assist Operations Control Manager with parts and tooling needs
• Ensure RSQCM compliance for maintenance personnel
• Provide performance evaluations of maintenance personnel
• Work with end user OJT students on work assignments
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and report safety issues
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description: The Operations Manager is responsible for facilitating maintenance on 2 modified Global 6000 aircraft located in the UAE.

Job Responsibilities

• Work directly with the customer on maintenance planning and hangar issues
• Coordinate maintenance with opposite Operations Manager and Operation Control Manager
• Assist the Maintenance Planner with scheduling aircraft maintenance
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports to appropriate managers
• Become familiar with the program\'s local software requirements (ADMIS) for aircraft data entry
• Manage maintenance personnel to support the customer needs
• Ensure aircraft maintenance documentation is properly completed and routed to the records department in a timely manner
• Communicate maintenance needs and issues to the program Accountable Manager
• Assist the Operations Control Manager with the use of parts and tooling requirements and needs
• Responsible for maintenance personnel RSQCM compliance
• Provides performance evaluation of maintenance personnel
• Work directly with the end user OJT students in setting up work assignments
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and report any unsafe conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• FAA A&P License or equivalent EASA/GCAA certificates
• Willing to relocate to the UAE for minimum of 2 years
• 3+ years Global aircraft experience preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills

• Previous experience supervising personnel and maintenance planning
• Willing and able to make technical decisions based on available information

• Experience using Microsoft Office products to communicate and complete paperwork
