Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai invites applications for a Waiter at Noia, its Greek Restaurant. You will provide exceptional dining experiences by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every detail meets MOHG standards. The role reports to the RB&E Supervisor.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in luxury dining, with strong English communication and knowledge of POS systems. High-end hospitality environment experience preferred; flexibility for varied shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High school qualification preferred; a degree or diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a waiter/waitress, preferably in high-volume or luxury dining environments.
• Familiarity with fine dining and casual service standards, as well as restaurant POS and cashiering systems.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders with accuracy and prompt service.
• Provide personalised, attentive service to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold brand standards.
• Inform guests about the Greek menu, ingredients and preparation methods.
• Operate POS systems for order processing and billing.
• Set and clear tables, maintain a clean, welcoming dining space, and manage multiple tables.
• Support upselling efforts and collaborate across outlets to create memorable guest experiences.
