• Foundational analytical and research skills for market intelligence, pursuit planning and CRM data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support small and medium proposal submissions, letters of interest and statements of qualifications.
• Assist pursuit teams during pre-RFP planning and help develop proposal themes, differentiators and win strategies.
• Prepare proposal schedules, templates and production plans under guidance from experienced team members.
• Build and maintain compliance matrices to track client requirements and submission obligations.
• Support the drafting, editing and formatting of resumes, project experience and past performance sections.
• Review proposal content for accuracy, structure and consistency before internal approval.
• Participate in Pink Team and Red Team proposal reviews and help coordinate feedback from reviewers.
• Implement agreed proposal revisions following formal review sessions.
• Help coordinate proposal review meetings and track outstanding actions through completion.
• Support Go or No Go and greenlight assessment activities.

Role Context The Graduate Proposal Specialist supports AECOM 's pursuit and proposal activities while developing practical knowledge of how large professional services opportunities are evaluated, planned and submitted. The position combines writing, editing, formatting, coordination and compliance tracking within a structured graduate development environment. Through exposure to RFI, RFQ and RFP processes, proposal reviews, CRM systems and internal approval requirements, the graduate will learn how commercial opportunities move from early pursuit planning to final submission. Structured training and mentoring from experienced professionals will help build the communication, organizational and analytical capabilities needed for longer-term progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Support small and medium proposal submissions, letters of interest and statements of qualifications.
• Assist pursuit teams during pre-RFP planning and help develop proposal themes, differentiators and win strategies.

• Implement agreed proposal and presentation revisions following formal review sessions.
• Help coordinate proposal review meetings and track outstanding actions through completion.
• Support Go or No Go and greenlight assessment activities by preparing relevant information and updates.
• Maintain accurate pursuit and opportunity information within CRM systems.
• Participate in internal pursuit debriefs and capture lessons that can strengthen future submissions.
• Follow company quality procedures and required approval processes involving legal, contracts, delegated authority and signatory requirements.
• Complete self-checks before submitting work for review.
• Track deadlines and support multiple proposal activities simultaneously while maintaining document accuracy.
• Assist with market research and competitive information gathering where required by pursuit teams.
• Work collaboratively with technical, marketing, commercial and business development colleagues throughout proposal preparation.

Ideal Profile

The opportunity is specifically open to UAE Nationals holding a Family Book in accordance with Emiratisation requirements. Candidates should hold a bachelor 's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or another discipline relevant to entry-level proposal development and business communications. Strong written and verbal English communication skills are important, together with the ability to draft, edit and format professional material. Candidates should be willing to learn formal RFI, RFQ and RFP requirements, proposal schedules, compliance matrices and structured review procedures. Good organizational ability is essential because proposal work often involves multiple deadlines, contributors and document versions. Foundational analytical and research skills will also be useful when supporting market intelligence, pursuit planning and CRM data. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is expected. The role is best suited to a motivated graduate who is comfortable receiving feedback, working across teams and developing new technical and commercial skills through structured coaching and mentorship.
