Role Summary

As a graduate engineer, you will join AECOM as part of the company's Emiratisation commitment, supporting engineering, infrastructure consulting, project coordination, documentation, and technical team activities across regional projects. This role is fully NAFIS eligible and is designed for UAE National candidates with a family book who are looking to build a long‑term career with a global infrastructure consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Support engineering and infrastructure project teams with technical coordination, documentation, and project delivery tasks.
• Assist senior engineers, project managers, planners, designers, and consultants on assigned project activities.
• Review project information, drawings, reports, schedules, and technical documents under supervision.
• Participate in project meetings, coordination discussions, and internal technical reviews.
• Support preparation of reports, presentations, registers, tracking sheets, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to understand engineering workflows, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, updating records, and following up on assigned actions.
• Learn and apply AECOM procedures, engineering standards, safety requirements, and project delivery practices.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on quality, innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in learning, development, mentoring, and career growth activities provided through AECOM's Emiratisation pathway.
• Support compliance with UAE labour law requirements related to Emiratisation, NAFIS eligibility, and national workforce development.
• Work with internal teams where required for GPSSA registration, contribution coordination, and employment documentation.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors to support engineering, project management, and business operations.

Candidate Requirements

• UAE National with a valid family book.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Fresh graduates or early‑career professionals interested in infrastructure consulting and engineering project delivery.
• Interest in civil infrastructure, transportation, water, buildings, environment, planning, design, or project management.
• Good communication, teamwork, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to learn technical processes, project delivery systems, engineering standards, and consulting workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to work with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Positive attitude, professional approach, and commitment to long‑term career development.
• Eligibility for NAFIS support is required.
• GPSSA registration and contributions will be managed by AECOM in line with applicable requirements.
