Job summary

Knight Frank MENA in Dubai seeks an enthusiastic Commercial/Leasing Surveyor to develop leasing instructions, facilitate property transactions, and maximize opportunities within the Knight Frank service line offering.

Responsibilities include winning and delivering leasing instructions, building landlord and occupier relationships, advising on leasing strategies, preparing Heads of Terms, and overseeing marketing and market research. You will report progress to landlords and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Senior Leasing Executive with leasing renewals, new lettings and disposals and an existing client network.
• Experience with both tenant/occupiers and landlords.
• Sound understanding of the office market, rents, trends and incentives.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages advantageous.

As a Commercial/leasing Surveyor you will be responsible for developing commercial agency business instructions, facilitating property transactions, fostering client relationships, and maximising opportunities within the Knight Frank service line offering.

• Advise clients on leasing strategies, market positioning, occupancy absorption, and commercial leasing terms.
• Prepare, negotiate, and agree Heads of Terms.
• Oversee property marketing activity, including property listing presentations, tours, videos, and leasing collateral.
• Conduct market, occupier, and competitor research and present findings professionally.
• Report regularly to landlords on activity, market feedback, and transaction progress.
• Identify and refer cross-selling opportunities across the regional and global business.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all leasing and administrative processes are managed efficiently.
• Manage your workload effectively and support the wider team where required.
• Build and maintain client trust, confidentiality, and Knight Frank's professional reputation at all times.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Senior Leasing Executive and have a track record of completing lease renewals, new lettings and lease disposals with an existing client network of office occupiers, law firms, and accountancy and technology professional services.
• Experience working with both tenant/occupiers and landlords.
• Sound understanding of the office market, current rents, trends, and incentives.
• Solid understanding of the local upcoming office supply, existing vacancies and tenants who have active requirements.
• International experience is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Ability to take initiative and work proactively.
• Drive to succeed in a competitive marketplace.
• The ability to understand and make use of computers and information technology (KF Internal Systems).
• Understanding of regional business culture and regulations.
• Certifications and Licenses: MRICS or on APC pathway preferable.
• Software: Microsoft Office programs to a proficient level.
• Language skills: Fluency in English. Fluency in Arabic or other languages advantageous.
• Travel: Flexible attitude towards travelling.
