The Role

To assist with estimating and proposal preparation activities and lead small to mid-size tenders.

Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

• Act as the lead responsible person for preparation, approvals, submission, and close-out of individual RFPs and pre-qualification exercises on small to mid-size tenders.
• Assist tender leads with estimates and proposals for large, complex tenders.
• Arrange and facilitate tender kick-off calls, assign actions, follow up, and compile proposal and estimate sheets.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and maintain visibility of tender progress.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Tax, BD, and other divisions for timely tender input.
• Build accurate costs and ensure transparency and traceability of cost build-ups.
• Ensure costs, taxes, and overheads are accurately built up, including liaising with third parties for quotes.
• Follow the tender approval matrix and secure correct approvals promptly.
• Demonstrate cost efficiencies through creative cost modeling.
• Report monthly on submissions, win/loss rates, and cancellations.
• Draft pre- and post-tender clarifications and ensure compliance with tender formats.
• Introduce innovative solutions for complex pricing schedules.
• Manage tender folders and document control.
• Handle tender acknowledgments and decline forms.
• Maintain high-quality tender formats internally and externally.
• Perform accurate calculation work and prepare weekly/monthly tender reports.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Service Line and Functional Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
