Job summary

Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Golf Operations Manager to lead the Golf Operations team and oversee daily golf operations, retail, tournaments and membership services. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving commercial performance.

The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for tee sheet management, events, and revenue-generating initiatives within a luxury hospitality

Qualifications

Proven experience in a previous role.
Demonstrated excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong operational focus on the member/guest experience and quality assurance.
Working knowledge of Golf, operating systems, POS and rules of golf.
Experience with financial reporting and reports in general.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to be creative in order to drive revenue sales in golf rounds and merchandise.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily operation of the Golf Department, ensuring exceptional service for members, guests and visitors.
Recruit, develop and motivate the Golf Operations team.
Oversee tee sheet management, tournaments, member events and daily golf operations.
