Job summary

HSBC is looking for an Open Market Advisor within International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) to drive acquisition, credit card, and lending targets for listed and non-listed clients in the UAE. The role requires strong relationship-building, negotiation, and market awareness, with emphasis on compliant, customer-centric service.

You will collaborate with internal teams to refer clients to Wealth Management and Private Banking, ensuring seamless handovers and ongoing client engagement.

Qualifications

• Understanding of IWPB products and services and ability to communicate this to customers.
• Proven experience selling products to retail individuals.
• Adept at developing a networking strategy and achieving activity and outcome goals.
• Knowledge of competitor activity, propositions and offers.
• Excellent performance record year after year.
• Ability to manage high-net-worth clients.
• Risk awareness and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance targets across Acquisition (accounts), Revolving Credit (credit cards) and Borrowing (personal loans) while maintaining high standards of customer experience.
• Serve as the primary contact for employees within your portfolio of listed companies.
• Identify opportunities for Wealth Management Corridors and Private Banking referrals.
• Uphold Group compliance standards and internal controls.
• Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, operational efficiency and productivity.
• Stay informed of market developments and competitor activity.
