Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants in Dubai is seeking an Operations Coordinator to prepare Bills of Lading, manage shipping documents, and support daily logistics operations. Experience with Letters of Credit (LC) and banking compliance is required.

You will coordinate with shipping lines, verify shipment details, maintain records, and liaise with customers, agents, and banks to ensure timely cargo movement in a fast-paced export environment.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of shipping documentation and B/L preparation.
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping operations.
• Experience handling export documentation under LC and banking compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Bills of Lading (B/L) based on shipping instructions.
• Verify accuracy of shipment details including shipper, consignee, cargo, quantity, and ports.
• Ensure all B/L sets meet customer or bank requirements.
• Coordinate with shipping lines for B/L confirmation, amendments, and release.
• Prepare and review shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, and certificates.
• Ensure LC requirements are met when applicable.
• Maintain proper documentation records and filing systems.
• Coordinate with shipping lines and airlines regarding schedules.
• Monitor cargo movement from booking through delivery.
• Handle document corrections and amendments as needed.
• Liaise with customers, agents, and banks regarding documentation and shipment status.
• Provide updates on document dispatch and cargo movement.
• Ensure all documentation complies with international shipping regulations and company policies.
