Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank seeks a senior legal professional to manage legal risks for Global Markets and Group Funding, ensuring alignment with FAB Group Legal Department policies. The role requires autonomous work and escalation to Head of Legal Global Markets & Group Funding for complex matters.

You will draft and negotiate derivatives, structured products, repos and custody documents, advise on EMIR, Dodd-Frank and MiFID2, and support debt funding programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in law from an internationally recognised university.
• Qualified as a lawyer in England (or another common law or European jurisdiction).
• Excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and negotiates structured products and structured note documentation.
• Drafts and negotiates derivatives repo and custody documentation and agreements.
• Advises on structuring transactions to comply with EMIR, Dodd-Frank and MiFID2.
• Maintains and supports debt funding programs and structured notes from a legal perspective.
