Qualifications

• Experience in financial control and reporting for large financial entities.
• Ability to prepare and monitor daily P&L for international operations.
• Strong variance analysis and commentary skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and control daily Profit and Loss reporting for the international business.
• Perform P&L decomposition and attribution.
• Reconcile and substantiate P&L and Balance Sheet positions between General Ledger and source systems.
• Conduct general ledger reconciliations and investigate differences.
• Perform variance analysis and provide explanations and commentaries.
• Produce management information reporting for the relevant area.
• Respond to ad hoc management reporting queries.
• Support accounting and financial reporting for Global Markets and Treasury activities.
• Monitor trading activity as part of the control function.
