Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking an experienced professional to support its Global Markets Middle Office Control & Governance function. The role will execute control checks, monitor reconciliations, and escalate issues while maintaining robust control evidence and governance reporting.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Trade Support, Market Risk, Compliance and regional teams to drive issue resolution and data quality, ensuring operating-model discipline across UAE and international

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, economics or related discipline.
7+ years in Global Markets Operations, Middle Office, Control or related first‑line control functions.
Strong understanding of Global Markets products including FX, Rates, Derivatives and Commodities.
Experience preparing control evidence, issue logs and KPI/KRI reporting.
Practical knowledge of Murex, MarkitWire, Bloomberg and related tools.

Responsibilities

Execute GM MO Control & Governance activities in line with SOPs and control standards.
Perform daily, periodic and event-driven control checks across Global Markets products.
Maintain disciplined control logs, issue trackers, and escalation documentation.
Support control operating model updates, library requirements and governance routines.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and evidence collection.
