Job summary

Emirates in Dubai seeks a Cargo Planning and Scheduling Controller to orchestrate freighter operations across the network, ensuring maximum schedule reliability and fleet utilisation. You will own the operational schedule, lead the day scheduling function and drive efficiency across multiple stakeholders.

The role requires a degree with 5+ years in logistics/cargo and at least 3 years in airline scheduling, with strong knowledge of capacity and revenue optimisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field with 5+ years in Logistics/Cargo, airline environment preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of airline scheduling experience, with capacity and revenue optimisation focus.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the short- and medium-term freighter schedule aligned with commercial and network priorities.
• Build and optimise aircraft rotations considering maintenance, block hours, slots and priorities.
• Conduct 24/48/72-hour forward planning to identify risks and mitigate impact.
• Develop recovery options for AOG, maintenance overruns and crew constraints.
• Assess swaps, cancellations and routing to maintain schedule integrity and minimise disruption.
• Lead and coach reportees to grow scheduling capability and technical knowledge.
