Job summary

flydubai is seeking a senior professional to manage the planning and optimization of freighter operations. You will develop and maintain network schedules, capacity plans, and utilization strategies to support cargo growth and efficiency across the fleet.

The role requires 8+ years in airline cargo or freighter planning, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, and a Bachelor’s degree. Strong English, regulatory knowledge, and leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains freighter network plans to optimize aircraft deployment and utilization.
• Coordinates with Flight Operations, Engineering, and Ground Handling for viable, compliant schedules.
• Conducts capacity and yield analyses to ensure cost efficiency and load factor targets.
• Leads freighter EIS planning including route proving and post-launch reviews.
• Evaluates ad-hoc and charter opportunities in coordination with Commercial and Operations teams.
• Collaborates with Cargo Pricing and Revenue Optimization to support yield targets.
• Leads and develops the Freighter Planning team and drives continuous improvement.
• Prepares management reports on freighter performance and operational metrics.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and internal standards in scheduling and capacity planning.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives in freighter planning processes.
