Job summary

Emirates SkyCargo is seeking a senior charter and freighter planning professional in Dubai to lead the commercial and operational aspects of freighters and wet-lease options. You will optimize routes, manage contracts, and coordinate with various EK teams to maximise profitability while ensuring compliance with IATA rules.

The role requires extensive experience in air cargo, charter operations, and fleet planning, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
• 5+ years in Logistics/Cargo or air cargo environments.
• Experience in charter planning and fleet utilization.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of IATA regulations and cargo handling processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare agreements and decide routings for scheduled freighter services.
• Optimize freighter revenues while securing slots and permits for operations.
• Coordinate equine transportation procedures for safe movement.
• Prepare long-term cargo contracts for forwarders with EK guidance.
• Analyze fleet utilization and recommend medium-term deployments.
• Produce post-flight profitability reports for SkyCargo Senior Management.
