Job summary

Thales in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Field Logistic Representative to coordinate all logistics activities for the RAFALE program. You will ensure asset availability, maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, and act as the primary logistics interface between the customer, local stakeholders and Thales support teams.

Requirements include 6+ years in supply chain or logistics, experience in international transportation and inventory management, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Support.
• Experience in international transportation, import/export and logistics operations.
• Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations and material control.
• Experience coordinating repair and reverse logistics activities.
• Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience within aerospace, defense or high-technology industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, delivery and acceptance of customer equipment, including Delivery and Acceptance Certificates.
• Record all logistics transactions in Thales logistics information systems.
• Monitor inventory levels, equipment consumption and stock availability.
• Identify shortages and report risks to Team Leader.
• Coordinate repair, overhaul and warranty return logistics; prepare shipment documentation.
• Prepare and verify shipping docs in line with import/export regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate transport with freight forwarders, customs authorities and stakeholders.
• Monitor logistics performance and provide regular reports.
• Support customers by resolving logistics issues and maintaining clear communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient execution and continuous improvement.
