Job summary
Maandag in Dubai seeks an experienced trader to develop an international sourcing network for fertilizer, chemical, and mineral products. You will originate from producers, negotiate terms, and manage the full trade lifecycle from procurement through delivery.
You will build relationships with international buyers and suppliers, monitor market conditions, and work closely with logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth execution. Dubai-based, full-time role with global exposure.
Qualifications
- Education in Business, International Trade, Economics, Agriculture, Supply Chain, Finance or related discipline is required.
- Experience: 5–10 years in international commodity trading.
- Strong experience in fertilizer, chemical, mineral markets and sourcing/origination.
- Proven record of executing international commodity transactions and strong negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with international producers, suppliers, buyers, and end-users.
- Originate fertilizer, chemical, and mineral products and negotiate prices and terms.
- Manage full trade lifecycle from procurement to delivery and monitor profitability.
- Coordinate with logistics, shipping, and finance teams to ensure timely execution.
