Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a Compliance Governance professional to help establish and maintain Group-wide governance frameworks, methodologies, and training materials. The role coordinates risk assessments, supports policy lifecycle, and ensures alignment across Head Office and international locations.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in compliance, governance, or risk, a related degree, and a working knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, law, risk management or a related discipline.
• Professional compliance certification (e.g., ICA or CAMS) is desirable, or willingness to pursue one.

Responsibilities

• Execute responsibilities in accordance with policies and standards with quality and timely completion.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business objectives and resolve issues.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze documentation and reports to support governance.
• Identify risks and control gaps, escalate issues, and support corrective actions.
• Support development and maintenance of Group Compliance standards and guidance documents.
• Administer the Compliance control document lifecycle including drafting coordination and approvals.
• Maintain inventories of policies and procedures and ensure approvals and reviews.
• Monitor completion of reviews and renewals and escalate overdue actions.
• Assist in rollout of Group standards across locations and track adoption.
