Job summary

Emerald Zebra Ltd. seeks a Group Chief Risk Officer to establish a zero-tolerance risk framework across digital assets, FX, CFDs, and equities. You will lead a global team, setting risk appetite, implementing real-time engines, and ensuring regulatory alignment across Dubai, India, Europe, and remote hubs.

You will shape enterprise risk governance, surveillance, and custody risk while partnering with executives to safeguard trading ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership in risk functions at global trading platforms (FX/CFD/crypto).
• Experience with multi-jurisdiction regulatory frameworks.
• 15-20 years of senior executive risk experience.
• Deep understanding of market-making and liquidity provider integration.
• Proven track record of preventing losses and managing exposure with real-time risk systems.
• Technical competence in quantitative risk and real-time surveillance.
• Experience with MPC and digital asset security frameworks.
• Experience managing institutional and retail trading flows.

Responsibilities

• Build the Group Risk Framework covering market, liquidity, operational, cyber, compliance, technology and credit risk.
• Establish three-lines-of-defence architecture across all trading platforms and desks.
• Define risk appetite limits, capital buffers, stress tests and escalation protocols.
• Implement real-time risk engines for FX CFDs, equities, crypto and leverage controls.
• Create surveillance for price manipulation, wash trading, and latency abuse.
• Oversee treasury, custody risk governance and counterparty onboarding.
• Govern digital asset custody across retail, institutional, OTC and treasury operations.
• Lead product governance and regulatory risk across jurisdictions.
• Build a 24/7 global risk function with cross-regional teams.
• Drive incident response, business continuity and vendor risk management.
