Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a General Technician to join our facilities team. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using technical manuals, drawings, and analytical skills to identify root causes efficiently
• Execute repairs and maintenance tasks while adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders, prioritizing urgent issues while maintaining organized documentation
• Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify potential issues before they escalation, demonstrating proactive problem-solving
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and share knowledge
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including parts used, time spent, and issues resolved
• Adapt to new technologies and equipment innovations, continuously expanding your technical skill set
• Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues about project status, challenges, and solutions
