Job summary

Joint Space Polyclinic LLC in the UAE seeks an experienced operations leader to run a multi-disciplinary clinic. You will manage practitioner schedules, patient journey from enquiry to care completion, reception and front of house, and relationships with suppliers while ensuring financial discipline.

You will oversee monthly accounts, budgeting, cash flow, and rebooking/conversion targets, reporting directly to the CEO and coordinating with Clinical and Medical Directors.

Qualifications

• Experience running a healthcare operation in the UAE or Gulf region.
• Track record of establishing operational excellence with measurable business results.
• Experience managing a site budget and clinic operations.
• Familiarity with DHA licensing in practice.
• Comfortable with numbers and day-to-day management.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinic operations including practitioner schedules and utilization.

Job description

Joint Space is a multidisciplinary, self-pay clinic built on five pillars: clinical and medical care, recovery, movement, education and community. We have developed a unique patient journey whereby people seeking care can enter through any one of these five pillars and continue their journey through Joint Space from there. We are in Alserkal Avenue as we have always believed that the way a place feels is part of the care.

We have grown our revenue every year since we opened, and the clinical side of Joint Space is well built. This is a newly created role to build the commercial and operational side to the same standard.

The Role

Your role would be to manage clinic operations, which means working with practitioner schedules and utilisation, the patient journey from first enquiry through to the end of care, reception and front of house, our suppliers, and the rhythm of the week. You would also be responsible for the numbers, which means the monthly accounts with our accountant, the budget, cash, conversion and rebooking.

You would report to the CEO, with the clinic reporting to you. Clinical and medical standards and direction are held by our Clinical Director and Medical Director.

What we look for

We are looking for somebody who has run a healthcare operation in the UAE or the Gulf, ideally a multidisciplinary one, and can show a track record of establishing operational excellence, with measurable results for the business. Your own background may be clinical or commercial, and what matters to us is that you have managed a site budget as well as the operations, that you know DHA licensing in practice, and that you are as comfortable with the numbers as you are with the day to day.
