Job summary

Sukoon Workplace Savings Solutions Limited seeks an experienced General Insurance Claims professional to manage the end-to-end claims lifecycle, including FNOL through settlement. The role emphasizes accurate assessment, documentation, and proactive communication with policyholders, brokers, surveyors, and service providers.

You will coordinate with underwriting, finance, legal, and customer service to resolve claims efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• Professional insurance qualifications (CII, ANZIIF, or equivalent) in General Insurance or Claims Management are an advantage.
• 1-3 years of experience in General Insurance claims handling across commercial claims (property, energy, casualty).
• Exposure to end-to-end claims processing including FNOL, documentation review, assessment, and settlement.
• Experience with claims SOPs, delegated authority frameworks, and SLAs is preferred.
• Experience coordinating with surveyors, brokers, and service providers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and process general insurance claims from FNOL to settlement and closure.
• Analyze loss reports and surveyor findings to support timely, compliant settlements.
• Collect, verify, and certify all required claim documentation in line with guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain accurate claim records in the system and adhere to SOPs and delegated authority.
• Communicate clearly with policyholders, brokers, surveyors, and service providers.
• Coordinate with Underwriting, Finance, Legal, and Customer Service teams as needed.
• Aim to meet SLAs, prioritize workload, and identify process improvements to reduce backlogs.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with GI Claims SOPs and regulatory requirements.
