Job summary

RTC1 Recruitment Services seeks a Dubai-based accounting professional to manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions in Odoo and strict VAT compliance. The role covers AP/AR oversight, payment processing, reconciliation, and monthly reporting across travel bookings.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations and Reservations to resolve discrepancies, maintain proper approvals, and uphold confidentiality and data integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and UAE VAT requirements.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software; Odoo preferred.
• Arabic-speaking with strong English and ability to coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and customers.

Job Description:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accurate recording of financial transactions, supplier invoices, customer receipts, expenses, refunds, and credit notes in Odoo, ensuring proper documentation and allocation to relevant bookings.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable, monitor supplier payment deadlines and outstanding customer balances, process approved payments, and maintain accurate financial records and payment tracking reports.
• Perform financial reconciliations and reporting, including bank statements, supplier accounts, customer balances, and travel booking transactions; investigate discrepancies and support monthly financial reporting, VAT documentation, and audits.
• Ensure financial accuracy and compliance by coordinating with Sales, Operations, and Reservations to resolve booking-related accounting discrepancies, maintaining proper approval workflows, and adhering to UAE VAT regulations and company financial policies.

Qualifications:

• Arabic-speaking candidate currently based in Dubai, with strong English communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and customers.
• Solid knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and UAE VAT requirements, with the ability to manage booking-related financial transactions, supplier settlements, and customer refunds accurately.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Odoo preferred), with excellent numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of confidentiality.
