GCC IT Services Business Development Lead

Job summary

Apt Resources in Dubai is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business across the GCC, engaging with senior decision-makers and building strategic relationships for technology services, AI, automation, and BPO solutions.

You will develop territory plans for UAE, KSA, Kuwait, and Qatar, manage CRM records, and mentor a growing sales team, with a focus on converting opportunities into multi-year contracts.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years in B2B field sales or business development.
• At least 4 years selling technology services, IT outsourcing, BPO, or staffing.
• Minimum 3 years GCC experience.
• Established GCC network of senior decision-makers.
• Proven ability to open accounts via face-to-face prospecting.
• Experience selling into Saudi Arabia and procurement knowledge.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic a plus.
• Must be currently based in UAE.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory plans for UAE, KSA, Kuwait, and Qatar.
• Identify and approach potential clients through visits, networks, referrals, and meetings.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers across technology, finance, and operations.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, chambers of commerce, business councils, and executive forums.
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand business challenges, stakeholders, budgets, and requirements.
• Identify and position services including technology services, AI/automation, and BPO solutions.
• Work with solution architects to develop and qualify opportunities.
• Handover qualified opportunities to the Business Development team and support during proposals and negotiations.
• Develop referral relationships with technology partners, SI firms, audit/advisory firms, and business setup consultants.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and log visits/meetings.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline development, market feedback, and competitor activity.
• Coach and accompany Field Sales Development Representatives as the team grows.
