Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners (CGP Group) seeks a senior Investor Relations and Business Development professional in Dubai to cultivate institutional investor relationships across the UAE and GCC and to present the firm’s capabilities to prospective clients.

You will coordinate with teams in China and overseas to deliver tailored solutions, engage in market events, and contribute to the growth of the Middle East franchise. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Business or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in investor relations, institutional client coverage, institutional sales, investment banking, corporate/investor relations, business development or related financial services role.
• Strong UAE or GCC market experience with an established network among institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, family offices, large corporates or other professional investors.
• Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships and develop new business opportunities and represent an institution in external meetings and market-facing activities.
• Excellent investor-facing, presentation and communication skills, with the confidence and ability to engage with senior executives, investment professionals, government-related entities and institutional investors.
• Arabic proficiency is strongly preferred, ideally with strong knowledge of the UAE and/or wider GCC business environment and local institutional investor landscape.
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
• Strong interest in and understanding of China's capital markets, Chinese financial institutions and China–GCC investment and business relations. Previous experience working with Chinese financial institutions, Chinese companies or China-related clients is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams across China and the Middle East.
• Commercially minded, proactive and relationship-oriented, with strong market awareness, cultural sensitivity and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors across the UAE and GCC.
• Identify and develop new institutional relationships and business opportunities in the GCC.
• Represent the firm in investor meetings, roadshows and market events.
• Coordinate with teams in China and overseas to connect GCC investors with Chinese markets.
• Serve as a liaison between GCC clients and the firm's investment banking, capital markets, research and other teams.
• Provide market insights and client feedback to support business development strategy.
• Support the growth of the Dubai office and broader Middle East franchise.
