Role Overview

An established international commodity trading firm based in Dubai is hiring a Fund Accountant with 3 to 5 years of financial experience. Operating within a high-volume trading setup, this position manages NAV calculations, handles derivatives and import accounting, prepares IFRS financial reports, supports treasury processes, and guarantees local UAE tax and statutory compliance.

Main Duties

• Oversee fund accounting operations, including NAV computations, portfolio valuations, and routine ledger reconciliations.
• Process complex derivative transactions, including futures, options, import accounting schedules, and landed cost allocations.
• Draft complete financial statements and management reports in full compliance with IFRS parameters.
• Assist treasury logistics, including cash flow forecasting, Letters of Credit (LCs), and Bank Guarantees (BGs).
• Maintain compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT rules, and statutory mandates while liaising with offshore finance units.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education & Credentials: CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA (or equivalent certification), or currently actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification.
• Professional Background: 3–5 years of fund and import accounting history rooted in asset management, investment, or physical commodity trading environments.
• Domain Mastery: Solid grasp of IFRS standards, derivatives accounting, treasury workflows, and UAE Corporate Tax/VAT regulations.
• Technical & Language Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, strong numerical analysis habits, and bilingual fluency in English and Hindi.
