Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim’s MAF Retail is seeking a Fulfillment Team Leader for the Hypermarket UAE to oversee daily e‑commerce fulfilment operations, including picking, packing, and handover to the last‑mile team, ensuring on‑time dispatch and product quality.

You will coordinate across operations, commercial, IT, customer service, and last‑mile delivery, maintain dark store organization and stock integrity, and develop team capabilities through mentoring and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in E‑commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Hands‑on experience in e‑commerce fulfilment and last‑mile delivery (preferred).
• Strong operational and commercial knowledge with experience in cross‑functional environments.
• Proficiency in warehouse/distribution systems and computer applications (MS Office, advanced Excel, SAP, Salesforce).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with full professional proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily e‑commerce fulfilment operations, including picking, packing, and handover to the last‑mile team.
• Ensure smooth coordination across operations, commercial, IT, customer service, and last‑mile delivery functions.
• Maintain dark store organization, stock adequacy, cleanliness, and proper cold‑chain and goods segregation standards.
• Guarantee on‑time dispatch, accurate delivery quantities, proper packing, and quality control to prevent damages and losses.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve logistics, operational, and system process challenges.
• Implement performance management, attendance monitoring, and disciplinary actions in line with company standards.
• Develop team capabilities through mentoring, on‑the‑job training, and coordination with HC for training needs and staffing adequacy.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of MAF Retail policies, procedures, and operational best practices.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Fulfillment Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day execution of fulfillment operations which includes Picking, Marshalling activities. When applicable, the role holder should liaise with the store and make sure that the customers are fully satisfied with the online services in terms of freshness, quality and fulfillment of their orders.
