Job summary

Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara seeks a Duty Manager to oversee guest services, front desk operations, and daily shift management on site. You will ensure service standards align with Minor Hotels' high expectations and actively improve guest experiences.

The role requires a hospitality degree and Middle East hotel experience, with strong English and advantageous Arabic skills. OPERA Cloud knowledge is preferred, and flexibility with hours is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality Management or similar.
• Experience in Middle East 4-5 star hotels.
• Supervisory experience in Front Office.
• Excellent English (oral & written).
• Arabic language is an advantage.
• Knowledge of OPERA Cloud system.
• Highly organized, career- and results-oriented.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guest needs and handle inquiries with attentiveness.
• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel products, facilities and promotions.
• Oversee service standards to meet Minor Hotels quality.
• Take personal responsibility for guest satisfaction and follow-up.
• Proactively suggest alternatives to enhance guest experiences.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments and communicate updates.
• Conduct daily shift briefings and pass information to team members.
