Job summary

Emirates SkyCargo in Dubai is seeking a Cargo Planning and Scheduling Controller to manage freighter operations, optimize fleet rotations and ensure network reliability. You will own the schedules, oversee complex changes, and drive recovery planning to minimise disruption.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics or cargo with airline scheduling experience and strong knowledge of IATA/ICAO rules. You will collaborate across Commercial, Operations and Engineering to maximise efficiency and

Qualifications

Degree with 5+ years in Logistics/Cargo, in air cargo/airline.
Minimum 3 years airline scheduling experience, preferably with capacity and revenue optimisation.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the short- and medium-term freighter operating schedule.
Build and optimise aircraft rotations considering maintenance, slots and priorities.
Conduct 24/48/72-hour forward planning to identify risks.
Develop recovery options for AOG, maintenance overruns and disruptions.
Coordinate with Commercial, Network Control Centre, Engineering, Crew and Flight Operations.
Lead and develop reportees, building scheduling capability and decision-making.
