Job summary

First Priority Cargo L L C in the United Arab Emirates seeks a proactive sales professional to grow the freight forwarding business. You will identify prospects, generate leads, and promote air and sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation solutions.

You will coordinate with operations and pricing teams, build strong customer relationships, and work toward monthly sales targets across Sharjah, DXB, DWC, and AUH while monitoring market trends and maintaining accurate sales

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop freight forwarders, cargo agents, importers, exporters, and logistics customers.
• Generate new business leads through client visits, cold calling, referrals, networking, and market research.
• Promote air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation solutions.
• Develop cargo movements through Sharjah (SHJ), Dubai International (DXB), Al Maktoum International (DWC), and Abu Dhabi (AUH), and international trade lanes.
• Achieve assigned monthly sales, cargo tonnage, revenue, and gross profit targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers for growth and satisfaction.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, follow up on enquiries, and convert leads into business.
• Coordinate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams for smooth cargo handling and timely service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, freight rates, and customer requirements for new opportunities.
• Maintain updated customer database, sales pipeline, visit reports, and regular sales performance reports.
• Follow up on outstanding payments with accounts and ensure compliance with credit policies.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities to increase shipment volumes and profitability.
