Job summary

Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant specializing in Banquets to deliver exceptional service during events.

You will set up banquet spaces, greet guests, serve food and beverages, and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in banquet settings.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanor.
• Proficiency in food and Beverage service techniques.
• Knowledge of banquet operations and procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven teamwork abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Food handling certification (preferred).
• Alcohol service certification (if applicable).
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment (preferred).
• Ability to work in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Participate in pre-shift briefings and training sessions
